One of our favourite evenings has always been dinner on Old Compton Street followed by jazz at Ronnie Scott’s, both just around the corner. Soho has changed enormously since we bought the flat in 2012, not least with the arrival of the Elizabeth line nearby, but we love that it has retained its distinctive, slightly eccentric character. Meard Street captures that perfectly: one of London’s surviving Georgian streets, full of architectural detail and history, but surrounded by everything that makes modern Soho so exciting.
