NOTE: The flat lease is technically available from 15th August but the room is scheduled for a repaint on 20th August so Iâve pushed the move in date to later and we can chat more about logistics :) Hey, Iâm Becca! Iâm a WFH animator in childrenâs TV, and Iâm advertising a room as my flatmate is moving out of Brighton. Rent is £907.50 with bills falling between £120 and £200 each, depending on the season. The flat is in council tax band C. The bedroom is an en-suite and is unfurnished, but the living room will have some furnishings (my flatmate will be taking some of the furniture in the pictures), so there is space to add your own touch and for us to make a cosy space together. The living room is large and bright with an open-plan kitchen that includes all white goods (including a dishwasher). The sofa is a sofa-bed which my flatmate and I have used for when family and friends visit. Thereâs wooden flooring and wooden blinds throughout the flat. The bedroom can be used as a double or a single; my flatmate used it as a single to fit a large desk in, but the tenant before us used it as a double with a smaller desk. Both options fit shelves and a set of drawers in the space as well. It has an en-suite with a full bathtub and also has a small nook to hang clothes. If you are WFH and prefer more space Iâm very happy for you to put a desk in the living room. There is also a large cupboard where we currently keep moving boxes, our Henry Hoover, seasonal decs etc so thereâll be some extra space to store items. The flat is located just off Palmeira Square, Hove, so the beach is just outside which is amaying for the current summer. There is also a bus stop just a couple of minutes from the flat with links to Worthing, Falmer, Woodingdean and central Brighton. Hove train station is a 20 min walk away, and Brighton station is about a 30-minute walk. I am someone on the quieter side who is respectful of other peopleâs space but still enjoys hanging out. I enjoy a chat over a cuppa, board games, watching telly, and a hangout down the pub. I have a mix of hobbies that include more homey activities (reading, video games, board games, drawing) but I also enjoy being active (rugby, hiking, climbing and roller skating). Iâm looking for someone who is friendly, tidy and social but still respects personal downtime. I currently WFH but donât mind what schedule people keep as long as theyâre respectful. Let me know if this sounds like a good fit and we can set up a time to view or meet for a coffee/pint somewhere to get to know each other :) On street parking is available in zone M, but there is a waiting list for a permit. The estate agents will require a reference check, deposit and UK guarantor.Show more
