## Description

*** Vendors comments *** "For 26 years, this house has been the heart of our family and it's with mixed emotions that we now pass it on to its next owners.

From the moment we first stepped through the door, we were captivated by the large, west-facing garden, a rare gem that floods the house with golden light all afternoon and evening. It’s been the backdrop to countless summer barbecues, children’s parties and quiet evenings watching the sunset.

Our two boys grew up here, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to raise them. The local schools are genuinely excellent, and with so many parks and green spaces on our doorstep, Crystal Palace Park, Dulwich Woods, and the South Norwood Country Park all within easy reach, it truly feels like living in the countryside, yet we're only minutes from the buzz of SE19's cafés, independent shops and transport links.

Over the years, we extended the house to grow with our family, first the kitchen extension, which became the hub of our home, and later the loft conversion, which gave us a beautiful master suite and much-needed extra space for guests and entertaining.

The garden has been our pride and joy. It's a true wildlife haven, the pond attracts frogs, dragonflies, and even hedgehogs, and being adjacent to the woods, we're treated daily to a chorus of birdsong, with great tits, wrens, and a robin nesting each year. We've also loved growing our own produce, the vegetable bed, fed by our compost heaps, has given us tomatoes and cucumbers all summer long, and the greenhouse was a game-changer for extending the growing season. The large shed and log store (kept well-stocked for the wood burner in winter) add both practicality and charm.

Now that our boys have flown the nest, it's time for us to downsize and move on to our next chapter. But we leave behind a home that's been filled with love, laughter, and warmth and we hope the next family will treasure it just as much as we have."
