If a tenant requests to leave a tenancy before they are entitled to do so, or without giving the required notice, the tenant may remain liable for rent and other contractual obligations until the tenancy legally ends.
Any payment required from the tenant will not exceed the financial loss reasonably suffered by the landlord and will not exceed the amount of rent that would have been payable had the tenancy continued for the required notice period. Unpaid Rent
